Thank you! We can still do that two man rp like we discussed though, Shadow.
Edit:
Sheesh I really need to remember to refresh the page before replying, this is getting embarrassing. xD I'm too used to SL.
For one *raises hand* rp mod/gm or whatever, right here.
Secondly, instead of having you just succeed or fail to get a summon what if they made you take some kind of test? You gotta collect bugs for the toads supper or play hide and seek with the snakes or something. Sheesh that seems like such a thing they'd do I can see the filler episode that never actually happened in my mind.

Actually since they were brought up earlier... Would I be able to create the Sword of Totsuka and the Yata Mirror, using those names but not having them function the same way? So that they aren't all invincible like.
But I follow up the quest, despite of Day and Night and Death and Hell.
Using the names would end up confusing people. Even if they were a regular sword and mirror.
That's why you see me walk around like nothing's bothering me even though half you people got a fucking problem with me. You hate it, but you know respect you've got to give me...
If we can all agree upon a way to nerf canon material that has been deemed to be OP, I don't see why we couldn't allow their use. For instance, I haven't written the changes into my bio yet, but to make my KG fair, I nerfed it so that it's not as powerful as sage mode with summons, even though Senninka is pretty close in the actual series.
Then again, I also feel like we should be shying away from canon material as much as possible. It would be a lot more fun if we were creative enough to make new KG and weapons. That's sort of the point of an alternate universe.
I promote the creation of new objects over usage (and sometimes required nerfing) of canon stuff.
Why make the rest if the site/the mods look over and approve/create rules for something, which in the end could have just been invented by the user anyways?
Just make stuff. Have other characters make stuff. I'm making one of my characters a swordsmith to make a bunch of swords for people. I'd rather have him make stuff than people just go "hey, tada I have this neato sword". Actually new point.
Weapons, canon or OC, should have to be made, requiring either the materials necessary or enough goods to pay a smith to make one for you. Just like the idea of how summons like frogs may make you catch 1000 flies before they'll accept you as a summoner, weapons can't just be spawned from nothing but have certain conditions that must be met before they're made.
I'm starting to see a growing need for a points system. When I was part of a Bleach RP forum, there was a points system in place that made it so people could allocate points toward either skills, or items for their character. After finishing an RP thread, the participants would each gain a certain amount of points dependent on their level of involvement. Thoughts on that?
That was part of it. I can't remember exactly how it worked off the top of my head, but Court was on the site with me, and she might remember more about it than I do. I'll talk to her about it.
I personally don't like actual stats. It's just too much for me.
The issue with making everything is, ok, how the heck do you make a Totsuka Sword, Kusanagi, whatever, and why can't more be made if that is the case?
I was going to rp something along the lines of a treasure hunt. Finding an old scroll on a wandering merchant that would let me seek of the Kusanagi. Because no, I don't know how to make blades that can fly, extend infinitely, and can damage adamantium.
I would agree with Light and Bocch. First and foremost it would be cooler to have people come up with new stuff. I'm working on a custom weapon already. Nerfing/creating canon stuff does have the flaw of there being the possibility to make more than one of anything, for the most part. I still think maybe Seven Swordsmen stuff could be okay. And tracking stats outside of the stuff that needs to be covered in the character profiles would get a bit... Tedious, I feel as well.
But I follow up the quest, despite of Day and Night and Death and Hell.
I'll have to do some reading and thinking, but there is a good way to implement a points system for character profiles. I'm not saying I'm going to just force it on everyone, but we can come up with a good system if we at least discuss it. Or we can decide not to use it at all. We'll never know unless we talk about it.
