(These events occurred directly after the events of the Uchiha Stronghold [Flashback])
Viola was taking her usual walk through the village square, in hopes to get a glance of the old orphanage. Viola took in the scenery of the quaint but blustering Village Square. Viola had been in her street clothes, her medic clothes under one arm. The usual washing machine at the medic company she worked for was down for repairs, which brought the burden of washing the blood and guts of her garbs onto the her. Violas' eyes came across the sunset, a rare sight since she was usually still at work. Overcoverage was rare during these days, but today was a bit special in itself. It was her one year anniversary for working professionally with the sick...which was also her 1st full year without working with the children she grew up with.
The blood orange color that cloaked the sky eased her mind of such thoughts. She could almost remember when she was years younger, peering at the sky from various rooftops. Back in those days she could still wonder what life had in store for her. Life had became so routine Viola could merely predict what was going to happen most days.
A soft sigh exited her lips. "Was it really worth it?" Viola thought. Were the long nights and shameless flirting all for goodwill? Getting harassed by their husky voices and offers for dates. Who were they to hit on her so recklessly? And the worst part, the coworkers had often encouraged her to take a date or two. As if it were some sort of serious consideration on Violas' part.
"Some of these boys rank high in their clans, Viola. Please consider them; you won't have to be working here sooner or later!"
And who were they to judge if she wanted marriage or more work? Anger began to welt in Violas' heart. Her steps began to turn off the usual path she took. Her eyes darted around, her feet now guiding her journey rather than her mind. The amount of chattering villagers dwindled into the few with more private conversations. Her stomping feet often bred to people clearing paths for her, her body beginning to get itself into a jogging rhythm.
As one stride turned led to another turn she soon found herself in one of the many secluded alleyways of Konoha. Her anger was calmed by the five minute jog her body went into instead of exploding on the nearest villager. Her body began to slow her pace as she entered the alleyway, lined with trashcans and dumpsters.
The oddity of the stench, however, held one that was stronger than her usual garbs. An overwhelming scent of blood came to her nose. The amount of blood loss she could smell led to the belief of it being someone possibly murdered(or close to it) in this very alleyway. She slowed her pace even more in hopes to stumble upon this bleeding body in still living condition.
Viola whispered for the lack of knowing what else to do, "Is...anyone here?"
