As time goes one we will probably slowly develop specific rules for the numerous techniques of the naruto universe, but I wanted to address, if we could, the concept of hiden techniques. Some of these would reportedly trace back -- in the naruto universe -- to long before the villages themselves were established, so it would be reasonable to say that hiden techniques already exist for clans in the respective areas.
For example, it would still probably be common that shinobi in Kaze no Kuni/Sunagakure could know either ninja puppetry or cloth techniques, or maybe the iron sand version of Jiton ninjutsu.
What kind of thoughts do we have on how we might want hiden to function, if at all?
But I follow up the quest, despite of Day and Night and Death and Hell.
Well very few hiden techniques are as strong as KG I would say so perhaps one could have another "slot" for a hiden style or two? In addition to your KG I mean. I would think one is probably good. Though I don't think Clothing Binding or Puppetry are hiden, per-say.
Naruto episodes 349-358(ish) are the episodes to Kakashi's back story. In these episodes we see the ino shika cho trio. Now this was at the time of the 3rd Hokage and Minato (Only kage for about roughly 11 months or a year) Anywho the original ino shika cho trio were at this point young adults and those clans were already established.
Our lore starts in the time of the 2nd Hokage and so on. Safe to say that the Konohagakure hidden are already made. At this point people need to rp being clan head and so on.
For villages such as Suna where little detail is giving. I say just treat them as if they were made also and do the same thing; rp being made clan head.
Kg are 100x more powerful than hidden jutsu. Most anyway. Like Bocc said I think we should just add one slot for a hidden with the 2 slots for a bloodling kg and an implant.
That's why you see me walk around like nothing's bothering me even though half you people got a fucking problem with me. You hate it, but you know respect you've got to give me...
Hmmm.. I think that for Hiden techniques, should you choose to have one for your clan, just add that into your bio under special abilities. For instance, someone playing as a Nara character can just write in that they have the Nara Clan techniques, like Kageri did. If you are playing as a character from a non-canon clan, you can create your own Hiden for your clan, but you'll have to describe it in detail on your profile so people can fully understand the abilities should they arise in RP.
Also, Shadow, don't mess with your post count. I'm putting you back to 70.
Will do it again in one year and every year thereafter.
