Alright guys, let's get crackin'. Obviously I've got to have some rules* here, otherwise things could get ugly.
Rule 1: First and foremost, let's keep things relatively PG, alright? I don't wanna read about people doing things that should otherwise be kept in the bedroom. Language is fine within reason. In the real world most people don't go around spewing a constant stream of obscenities, this place is no different.
Rule 2: Don't harass one another. People aren't going to enjoy themselves if we can't all act like adults and be respectful. If you don't want other people to participate in your thread, or want it to be invitational only, make sure you use the word "private" in the title. This will let others know not to come post all over your threads.
Rule 3: Keep the threads IC the whole time. If you disagree with what someone has posted, either take it up with them via private message, or create a help thread with the title containing the name of the thread and reason for complaint. If you choose to create a help thread, a moderator will oversee the issue and help both parties come to an agreement.
Rule 4: Don't argue with the mods. Mods are chosen for a reason, so arguing with them isn't going to help your case. If you really disagree with a moderator's ruling over any given topic, please appeal to an admin. We will look over the situation and try to handle it.
Rule 5: Try to have fun! RP isn't always about being serious. Sure, some characters are just like that, but that doesn't mean you have to be. People aren't going to see eye to eye, and this is RP after all. Things might not go how you planned. Brush it off.
Rule 6: Concerning RP threads, parties involved will have one week to post once it is their turn unless they have given a notice of absence which should be posted in the announcements board. In the event that a member fails to meet this requirement, a moderator will take over their post and exit their character from the thread. This is to keep other members from becoming locked in RP for extended periods of time.
*Rules will be subject to change as the admins deem necessary
