Age: 21
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 180lbs
Village of Origin: Konohagakure
Rank: Jounin / Grand Leader
Chakra Affinity: Doton & Katon
Special Abilities: Explosion Release
Personality: Hono is an Uzumaki boy with tons of fire in his stomach. The fire he possesses is the very substance of his success, passion. Hono is a very passionate man and would do anything and everything for his loved ones, for the true way. This is what solidifies his choices both on and off the battlefield. Hono is known to be quite the charming Uzumaki man, he is confident enough to hit on royalty. After all, he is a sucker for redheads. His charm is matched only with his confidence, unafraid to address anyone with in proper means. He was raised to be very well mannered in the tradition means.
Character History: Born within the confines of the Uzumaki Stronghold, he was raised as a warrior by his only Father. His Mother was a strong willed kuinochi and a user of the clan's famous Chakra Chains. Though she was gifted with her vastly superior chakra pool; her body wasn't strong enough to survive the trauma. Hono was born, but at the cost of his Mother. His Father drove him hard, with tough love. Hono's Old Man couldn't help but partially blame Hono for his Mother's death and it showed in their interactions. With no time to train, he learned on the battlefield, picking up tricks from his comrades. If Hono wasn't fighting or training, he was studying and writing. Writing formula after formula, using his intelligence to carry him where he lacked as a shinobi. Sometimes, that meant learning ways to appear out of thin air. Excelling with strategy as well and probing his worth from surviving the front lines; the Uzumaki began to use the mere boy as a spy. Through patience and training to harness his potential and ability, he began to gained rank and reputation throughout. He was a super solider, under direct orders of the Leader who could dissolve his fear for his bloodline. He aspired to be the leader.
Coming from a peace summit, Hono stood on duty as the Leaders guard. They were traveling from a clan's stronghold back to the Uzumaki Clan. There were two others besides he and the Leader. A large brute of a man stood in the rear, a powerhouse to be sure. He was one of the largest of the Uzumaki and by far the strongest. Standing opposite of Hono was a man now as Spex; they all called him that on a count of his glasses. Spex wasn't a talker, or a fighter, he always seemed to just 'be'. The travel wasn't incredible long, but it was enough distance for something to go wrong. A rove of ninja from an unknown clan jumped the caravan of sorts. They secured a jump on the largest of the men, taking him down in one swoop with a well placed kunai to the juggler. Blood pooled near them almost instantly. The smell of death was fresh and would have distracted others. Yet, Hono kept in stride he ran through hand signs and unblemished a massive ball of fire at two in a tree. By the time he spit it out, they were surrounded. The only positive was he took the harder to hit tool rangers. He and the Leader slammed back to back. They felt odd, they were missing the third man, Spex. However, out of the smoldering fire and intoxicating smoke walked their missing man.
"Sorry, the money was worth more to me then family." said Spex as he walked from the two.
The Leader stood and released a flurry of kata before his body sprouted red chains. These crimson chains were the Uzumaki Clan's ability Chakra Chains. He ran through a lot of them, but he was so old already and he pushed himself past a point he should of. He began to cough up blood and dropped to a knee. With a group of 4 shinobi before him, Hono though for a brief moment. "I need a miracle." He was pissed, after everything he died here unable to protect himself and his Leader. The Old Man gave his life for me practically.
The Uzumaki Grand Leader spoke to Hono, "I believe in you. You have always brought pride to the Uzumaki and have always kept me safe. Rats always carry disease, but remember that peace will always over come. I-I" More coughing ensued.
Hono became enraged for a sheer second, his hands burned like they were on fire. It was as if his hands were going to explode. Guarding his dying Leader, he through out his hands which were both tightly clenched and screamed, "Uzumaki's know NO fear!"
Opening his palms, all he felt was heat and force. His vision was glowing white like he was fading too heaven, but the sound was massive. Emitting from his palms, a large concussive blast of Explosion Chakra came from both palms to eviscerate the last of the gang. Hono fell unconscious instantly after.
Hono awoke to be surrounded by the Uzumaki Council and he over heard conversations about his possible Leadership position within the clan. He felt joy for only a moment, for it quickly turned to pain as he reminisced on his prior battle. When Hono finally came too, he asked to be alone before weeping for the loss of his Leader. For his failure, for his mistakes. He understood why they wanted to choose him, but the title was so bittersweet for the young Uzumaki. What did he know about leading? What was he truly worth?
