("Spot Hyena")
Contract Holder: Taemi
Summoner: Taemi;
History: Spread out in the vast, seemingly endless desert lies a clan not to be trifled with. In the Wind Country lies a savannah, untouched to most: except members within the Sukōchi clan. In this Savannah, a pack of Hyena dwell, described to be ruthless and malevolent in nature.
Legends describe of a worthy tribe who tested against a mighty deity, using their ninja skills to capture and detain the insidious beast within a contract. Many of the clan had lost their lives to the brutal, scorching force of the creature, though the ones who had survived became prosperous; if one could even call it that. As the mammal creature became bound to a scroll, the remainder of the Sukōchi clan too felt a disturbance, a change. The founder of the clan, who was the sole important slayer of the beast felt in tune with the creature; it was only inevitable that the two would merge in spirit, body, soul and mind. And so, as the founder aged, he discovered a new-found talent: Shakuton, something that had nearly wiped his family out.
That's how legends go, supposedly. Only members of the Sukōchi line know of the Hyena’s existence.
As the sands of time progressed, the relationship between Sukōchi and Hyena has grown stronger, given the symbiotic relationship between the two: the Sukōchi provided and invented new ways for the 'desert-dogs' to hunt, whilst keeping intruders away from their territory; as well as giving them shelter, security and forms of hydration. In return, the Hyena bend to the clan member's will, performing commanded tasks. Some have even enjoyed being 'domesticated'.
Taemi holds the contract for Supatto Haiena, or "Spot Hyena." As the name implies, these Hyena physically have spots on their hides, but they also are used for tracking enemy shinobi. Fierce, psychotic, and chatty, each Hyena is different in their own right. There are two for the low summon, two for the moderate summon and one overly gargantuan Hyena as the alpha-male and pack leader for the highest summon. Despite being 'levels' of Hyena summons, they actually pertain to the size of the animals rather than the extent of the capabilities; considering to summon a smaller animal would take a less amount of chakra in comparison to a higher, larger summon, etc. They all share common traits, though.
Lowest Summons: The lowest summons are two little, young growing Hyena brotherly pups. They're actually twins, and strangely they're the same size as fully grown average Hyena [just goes to show you how big they start out as.] Their names are Senmetsu & Inmetsu, and unlike their other counterparts, they appear to be the most estranged. Their mouths have been sewn shut with barbed wire, but even the rabid ooze spills from the open 'crevices'. Their hair is balding in random spots, as if they are diseased; and what flesh shows, it indicates signs of malnourishment; emaciation, if you will; but, besides the 'restraints', Senmetsu and Inmetsu are perfectly healthy. They are more or less the messengers of the Hyena Clan, which is a perfectly good explanation as to why their mouths are sealed shut [and tongues removed], almost. They can still speak, though it usually comes off as nonsense, or a truly possessed, seemingly dark laughter.
Drool & Tears- Surprisingly, their drool has healing properties [probably by an unheard of enzyme that increases or speeds the rate of recovery in cells]. At the price of pain [sensation of being burned; as if being branded], their healing spit will seal the wound and mend the tissue, considering their drool has healing chakra embedded with it. Their tears act alike with the spit, though they're usually crying from laughter.
Excretions- The Hyena's liquid waste, or commonly known as piss, happens to be highly corrosive and acidic. Their small frame allows them to maneuver themselves around to aim and shoot, in a sense. The first symptoms are feeling itchy, followed by the slow disintegration of one's skin and beyond the superficial.
Bond- Being that they're incapable of holding an intelligent conversation through speaking, they possess this unbreakable bond with each other and their master [Taemi]. They have the uncanny ability to speak to one another telepathically; while Taemi has to administer her input through touch, it usually involves petting her companions on the head. The two, however, can converse with one another just through thought, which is why they are perfect messengers. With this, they don't need to carry a written message, but one of thought. That way, those who try to delay or steal records would fail, because they would find nothing on their possession; and being that one usually travels alone, if a mind-reader tried to invade their minds, the two would work in conjunction to block or intercept that invasion. This method is exceptional, being that images and overall memory can be transferred.
Senses- What they lack in speaking [taste, more like it], they make up in sight, hearing, touch and smell. Their 4 senses are heightened, and usually when they try to relay a message, they will write the simple command of 'touch' into the dirt to signal the receiving end to 'tap' into their message.
Speed- Quick, nimble and agile, this 'scrawny' pair utilize high speeds in exchange for low combat ability. A high stamina and speed make it easier, albeit faster to deliver a message; and with chakra from nature, in unison with their own, they're able to move diligently.
Moderate Summons: The two Hyena are Takeo and Yasu. Takeo is violent as always, usually irrational and psychotic; often at times he will take scouting into his own hands, rushing prey and attempting to take them as his own prize and meal. Yasu, on the other hand, is assertive and critical, always thinking of methods to approach/hunt, unlike Takeo. Yasu is more controlled when it comes to her primal emotions and instincts, though both joke around and howl madly in laughter like any Hyena would. Together, they seem to get the job done.
As far as supernatural abilities go, the two in unison have the power of disorientation through the screeching of their laughter. The sound will echo and bounce off of surrounding natural and man-made structures/surfaces until the ear is reached. This produces a ringing effect in their ear, momentarily tampering with their equilibrium and hearing. Besides that, they have a natural talent of enhanced hearing, smell, taste, sight, and touch, as any animal compared to a human would. The one usually covered in blood is Takeo, while the other is his female counterpart, Yasu. Unlike normal Hyena, however, Yasu and Takeo are able to produce small fuuton ninjutsu through the usage of their limbs, and their tails; which, strangely take shape of a fan. Their maws are capable of spewing katon, which works effectively with the wind at their disposal; not to mention allowing for some outstanding teamwork.
Takeo is more of a taijutsu and ninjutsu fighter, whilst Yasu is the genjutsu and ninjutsu user; using their heat manipulation to effectively work in their own unique talents. Inevitably, the two have preferences. Yasu, the genjutsu/ninjutsu user, relies more on Katon to create mirages, as well as send the nearby area ablaze, not to mention disrupting senses through sound-based genjutsu. Takeo, on the other hand, utilizes swift maneuvers of taijutsu whilst incorporating fuuton ninjutsu, producing devastating, slicing attacks.
They are fairly huge, rivaling the size of two-storied buildings.
While their chakra reserves are hardly limitless, they have an uncanny ability to devour and consume a portion of chakra from a being [if the nature's chakra isn't enough or unavailable to their disposal], contorting it into energy of their own for usage.
Highest Summon: Lastly, the final summon she posses is Arufakingu. He towers over Taemi in size, amounting to nearly a tailed-beast's height. His coat appears more fiery, spots ranging from lighter parts of the infrared spectrum. He is arrogant, vicious, and cruel.
Arufa's hide is entirely composed of fire [due to fur insulation/heat drawn from the sun and collected onto the fur], so when he is summoned, the temperature raises steadily depending on his level of anger; which is good because he is usually the crude joker-type. Unlike his counterparts, Arufakingu has the divine ability to combine both Katon and Fuuton to form Shakuton. From his maw, he can release a ball or ray/stream of Shakuton, aimed to dehydrate and destroy anything in its path. The fur allows for the manipulation of heat, enabling him to create mirages. His backside enables him to use Katon through his maw, while his limbs can deliver Fuuton-esque attacks. He is quick, analytical and judgmental, considering he views himself at the highest superiority. If he roars, he can produce the same screeching effect as his lower allies. To summon him would cost Taemi a great deal of chakra, however.
He may be big, and albeit cruel, but his 4-legged stance allows him to move nimbly, paws giant enough to stomp and crush anything in their paths; also, his claws and teeth are hardened and strong [although stained], serrated enough to cut through and crush things with ease. All in all, Arufa is a force to be reckoned with.
