Sukōchi Ichizoku
Clan Members: Taemi;
Kekkei Genkai: Shakuton ("Scorch Element")
Clan History: For centuries, the clan predominately lived in Sunagakure. Legends describe of a worthy tribe who tested against a mighty deity, using their ninja skills to capture and detain the insidious beast within a contract. Many of the clan had lost their lives to the brutal, scorching force of the creature, though the ones who had survived became prosperous; if one could even call it that. As the mammalian creature became bound to a scroll, the remainder of the Sukōchi clan too felt a disturbance, a change. The founder of the clan, who was the sole important slayer of the beast felt in tune with the creature; it was only inevitable that the two would merge in spirit, body, soul and mind. And so, as the founder aged, he discovered a new-found talent: Shakuton, something that had nearly wiped his family out.
That's how legends go, supposedly.
The bloodline ability was passed down from that founder many generations long ago to those that came and went in history. This Kekkei Genkai, mainly seen within the Sukōchi Clan is an advanced chakra nature. This nature creates chakra that is capable of heating up an enemy to the point where all the liquid inside their body evaporates, killing the victim and leaving them a corpse. It is unknown what basic natures Scorch Release consists of, but some have suggested it comes from both Fire and Wind natures. Shakuton, or Scorch Element, takes the form of evaporating attacks.
They are a very tightly packed clan sworn to secrecy, currently small.
Abilities: Members of the Sukōchi clan possess ninjutsu capable of turning any organism into a withered husk with their bloodline ability called the Shakuton; more importantly, the liquid evaporates, causing dehydration which further progresses onward to death. Could it be from a manipulation of heat? The world may never know.
Karaken ("Husk Fist") is a fighting style derived from the Sukōchi's bloodline ability. Forming Shakuton/Katon chakra around their appendages, the user can aim to physically hit a portion of an opponent's body, instantly evaporating the liquid in that spot, among 'scorching' his/her body as if giving them a massive third degree burn. The price for this comes at the user's risk, usually dehydrating their own body, as well as burning the appendages they choose to fight with. So, it's imperative to fully master the technique, and to remain hydrated in order to use it. Maybe some gloves would work too.
Those who have mastered the techniques of Shakuton are said to possess the power to manipulate the Scorch Element freely. This is otherwise known as the Sukōchi Kussetsu ("Scorch Bending"), named after the clan itself. The member summons the scorch-nature chakra [or just Katon if anything] and can freely maneuver it around as they so choose; but the intensity and level of manifestation will easily exhaust the user in chakra and stamina like it's fighting style counterpart. Luckily, most members of the clan are born with a high chakra capacity, and with years of training they have a possible chance of maintaining chakra and stamina better. They have been known to express a natural resiliency to high (steam, more like it) temperatures, due to their bloodline limit; though the effects can still take hold on their bodies.
Shinkirou ("Mirage") are forms of Genjutsu utilized by the Sukōchi Clan.
Lastly, it is said the Sukōchi Clan have a pact with Supatto Haiena ("Spot Hyena").
Extensive use drains chakra, strains the body, and tires out the user easily.
