[Open for anyone who can sense chakra or is within the Forest of Death]
On his way to meet with the Hokage, Hono caught eye of something he thought was a pretty redhead. He did ever so adore beautiful red hair, no matter how much of a warrior he was, he could be soft to right; just like his hair?
His head snapped into the direction, as being discreet wasn't something he did well, to examine what he caught in the corner of his eye and what he found wasn't a young fine young lady at all. Fox fluffy sat with it's eyes shut, tail curled around it's small mass, the cute animal sat in an alley way near the walkway to the Forest of Death.
"How did you get past the guards little one." he smiled as he slowly walked forward, "Are you sleeping up there you adorable little fox." He always wanted a dog or a cat when he was growing up, but his Father was a wicked man. He was luck to acquire a meal after a workout.
The Foxes ears perked up to the sounds of Hono's footsteps closing in, and before Hono could do anything the fox stood and spun whipping the hand which Hono was extending outward.
"Excuse me, I am no longer a kit, though I do thank you for the complement." a small yip came at the end of the sentence after the fox spoke.
"Oh my, I--I, uh." Hono blushed and stammered, he heard the Uchiha had cats that could speak and other clans who run with dogs that could, but he only ever heard rumors. By the tone of the voice measured against it's pitch, he took a chance. "I am so sorry Miss, you see, I have a soft spot for beautiful hair and.." pointing to the luscious mane the young fox sported he smiled.
"And your fur is so well kept." he ran his fingers through his hair himself, the fox became a little guarded.
"Well Sir, if you are considering skinning me you'll have the fight of your life!" she growled and bared her fangs. The sharp pearly whites were intimidating, even for a fox of this size.
"Now now, I more so wanted to take care of you as a pet, but I was unaware of.." he trailed off, unsure of how to say what he wished without coming off rude. With how stand off-ish she was, it could be bad if he handled this incorrectly.
"Above animal intelligence? Maybe my ability to flow chakra?" the young fox said as she jumped at the wall and bounced from building to building. Using her claws to cling and hold her self she jumped high into the air and came down to the earth like a bullet, carving into the soil like a mole. The fox attempted time and time again to get out of the hole, but she seemed to get herself wedged between a rock and a hard place. Hono covered his mouth to smuggle a giggle without her being any of the wiser. The fox wiggled frantically as he pulled her out and set her gently to the dirt.
She shook her self like a dog out of water, attempting to dust herself off. "Here let me help you!" The Uzumaki said as he start to lightly pat the creature, skimming of dirt particles and debris. "You are far more talented than anyone I have meet." he chuckled as he went about helping her.
"You flatter me, but if you truly think so, I thank you. However, my nap is over and I must get going." Her tail wagged softly and a curl started in her lips.
"You seem like a very nice man, what is your name if I may?" the question only was in the air a moment before Hono responded.
"Uzumaki, Hono; Leader of the Uzumaki Clan..." he turned to show her the insignia and kanji he wore on his back. "It's a pleasure to meet you Miss, may know yours as well?" he smiled as the fox yipped again and taking off towards the Forest of Death.
"How badly do you want to know? Is it worth it too run blindly after me; I think it is!" she squeaked as she past the opening out into the wood.
